Ravenhead Park

St Helens

Ravenhead Retail Park lies to the south of St Helens Town Centre.  It is a site with a history of opencast coal mining.  We led the development team,
co-ordinating an Environmental Impact Assessment, to secure planning permission from St Helens Borough Council for the development of a retail park of circa 27,600 square metres of retail floorspace.  Subsequent to the initial planning permission, various planning permissions were approved to relax controls over the ranges of goods that may be sold to enable the scheme to accommodate specific retailers and for the installation of mezzanine floors within retail units.

Other retail parks on which we have provided planning input in order to secure planning permission include schemes at Atherleigh Way, Leigh, Snipe Retail Park at Ashton-under–Lyne, Denton, Salford, Huddersfield, Bradford, Bury, Catterick, Stoke, Maclesfield and Preston.

In total we have been responsible for securing planning permission for over 6 million square feet of retail development.
